A new defibrillator site has gone live in Midhurst, West Sussex thanks to a joint venture between The Midhurst Society and The Tesco Bags of Help Scheme.

Defibrillators are easy to use with each machine giving step by step instructions. The machine plays a vital part in the management of a cardiac arrest. The defibrillator is registered with the ambulance service and anyone needing to access the machine should call 999.

Harvey Tordoff of The Midhurst Society said " The Midhurst Society is dedicated to making Midhurst a better place to live, work and visit, and that starts with staying alive! And so we are proud to partner Tesco Bags of Help in providing an AED (defibrillator) for the use of all in busy North Street

Jamie Richards CEO of AEDdonate said "It was a pleasure working with both Tesco Midhurst and The Midhurst Society, a great display of a community working together. Thank you to everyone involved"
