Generous donations from members, guests, staff and friends of the facility mean that potentially life-saving equipment is available 24/7 for anyone who may need it. Thanks also go to the support from the Tesco bags of Help scheme.

The defibrillator is registered with the ambulance service and will be monitored by the site to ensure it remains available.

Jamie Richards, Chief Executive of AEDdonate; who supplied the AED said “It's great to see another commmunity recognising the importance of the machines, the chance of survival after sudden cardiac arrest decreases minute by minute, but if someone is shocked with a Defibrillator within 2-3 minutes their chance of survival increases by 70 % ”

Well done everyone!
