The community in Highfields, Stafford are better protected in the event of a cardiac arrest thanks to a defibrillator fitted on the outside of The Signpost Centre. Staff at the site approached AEDdonate to fundraise for a machine after recognising the need for the equipment to be available in the community.

Rachel Richards, Head of Community and Education at AEDdonate said "we were happy to support this project to ensure the community had immediate access to the life-saving equipment, it is vital that the machine is available 24/7, sadly sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone of any age at any time. I would urge people to ask where their nearest defibrillator is, if you are more than 2 minutes away from one you should think about starting a campaign.
